Certification & Regulatory Engineer
We develop and manufacture turnkey energy storage solutions, based on lithium-ion battery technology. Our goal is to engineer technology that both stores and optimizes energy as we shift towards more efficient energy usage and renewable energy sources on a global scale. You’ll have the opportunity to work with exceptional engineers, scientists, developers and more to pave the way for the next big leap in the energy industry through our battery energy storage and optimization systems.
Location: Polarium HQ (Stockholm) and Tomteboda (Solna).
Your main responsibilities will include:
· Act as lead for certification work in projects
· Drive and coordinate certification efforts in and between projects
· Define and negotiate test planning with third-party test houses
· Lead the work of producing all internal documentation related to certification and regulatory approvals
· Review and approve test reports and certificates
· Ensure that all certification documentation, reports, and certificates are properly filed.
· Keep up to date with standards development
· Participate in relevant technical committees for applicable standards
Qualifications and experiences:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience from similar roles
· Extensive experience from certification
· Experience from lithium batteries and power electronics
· Experience from functional safety critical systems and certifications
· Relevant higher education
