About the job

We are now looking for two Technical Support Engineers, one based in Kenya and one based in Ghana. You will provide technical service and occasional support to our African Customers and support with technical presentation and trainings. You will also be a Global Technical Support for all Polariums SLA costumers, manage the support process and work towards continuous improvements. Business trips within Africa can take place and/or other countries.  

Responsibilities:

  • Customer focused and service minded.
  • KPI-handling, (internal and external)
  • Support with technical implementation of trial, and demo systems with customers
  • Support sales engagements with technical expertise in power and batteries
  • Participate in training and regular communication with technical team at head quarters
  • Field Service for African Customers
  • Manage in-country support contracts and in-country spares
  • Lead to resolution Service Requests and ensure SLA are met for East African Customers.

 

Who are you?

You are a team-oriented person who is committed, meticulous and good at taking responsibilities and follow through. You have excellent communication skills, and you are fluent in English, both spoken and written. The Technical Support Engineer in Ghana also has to be fluent in French.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience from working with international customers
  • Solid experience from working in Technical Support within Telecom and/or Electrical Industry, with large accounts.
  • Meritorious if you have knowledge of lithium batteries and the telecom energy and knowledge of JIRA Service Desk or a similar system.
